Kaali Controversy: 'I don't want to live in India like this...' Mahua's tweet on the black controversy - register FIR, I will meet in court

The controversy over the black film is getting deeper. While TMC MP Mahua Moitra is not taking the name of backing down from her statement, BJP and other Hindu organizations are continuously opposing her. Meanwhile, Mahua Moitra has given fuel to this fire with another tweet. Mahua said- 'You register your FIR, I will meet in the court.'

Mahua tweeted and said, 'I do not want to live in an India where the patriarchal brahminical mindset of the BJP dominates and everyone revolves around religion. I will stick to my statement till my death. You register your FIR, I will meet you in court.

What did Mahua say?

Moitra had said on Tuesday that Kali has many forms. To me, Kali means the goddess who accepts meat and wine. He said, 'It is up to you how you see your God. If you go to Bhutan and Sikkim, then whiskey is offered to God in worship there. At the same time, if you give whiskey to someone in Uttar Pradesh, then his feeling can be hurt. For me, Goddess Kali is in the form of a meat-eater and a wine-drinker. Goddess Kali has many forms.'

TMC backs out, supports Tharoor

His party Trinamool Congress has completely distanced itself from Mahua's statement. Also condemned the statement. However, Congress leader Shashi Tharoor has supported Mahua. He has said, "The attacks on Mahua Moitra have taken me by surprise. These attacks are happening because of what every Hindu knows. Hindus know that the way of worship varies from place to place in the country. Only that devotee knows what one offers to the Goddess. He further said, we have reached such a situation, that if we say something about someone on a public platform, then someone's sentiment will be hurt. However, certainly, Mahua did not say so out of a sense of humiliation. He further said I appeal to everyone to keep the atmosphere cool. How one believes in religion, it should be left to the devotee.
