Jammu and Kashmir: A massive explosion occurred in a machine kept inside a vehicle in Larkipora, eight workers were injured; in critical condition

There was an explosion in a vehicle on Wednesday in Larkipora of Anantnag in South Kashmir. Eight people have been injured in this. All the injured have been admitted to a nearby hospital for treatment. Police have registered the case and started investigating the cause of the explosion.

According to information received from Anantnag, today a group of workers were going ahead from Larkipora Duru in a Tata mobile vehicle (JK18-4476). Suddenly there was an explosion inside the vehicle in Larkipora and eight workers in it were injured.

As soon as information about the explosion was received, security forces and policemen patrolling the nearby area also reached the spot. At the same time, they cordoned off the entire area and took the injured workers to a nearby hospital for treatment with the help of local people. The condition of the injured workers is said to be critical.

According to the concerned police officials, all the injured workers are non-Kashmiri and belong to other states of the country. The vehicle was also damaged in the explosion. He said that the explosion took place in the cement mix centering vibration machine which was with the workers' vehicle. There was also a portable generator and a can of oil. These also came under the influence of the blast. A forensic investigation team has also been called to the spot. He has also taken some samples from there for testing.
