Food delivery company Swiggy has come up with a moonlighting policy for its employees. Under this scheme, the company has cleared the way for its employees to work elsewhere along with their jobs.

According to this policy, employees can work on other projects after their working hours, provided that the project does not conflict with the interests of the company. Swiggy claims to introduce such a policy in the industry.

A statement has been issued by the company saying that the employees of the company will be able to do any other work after the completion of their working hours or on weekends. The only condition for this would be that the project for which they are working does not affect their productivity nor there is a conflict of interest with Swiggy for that project.

Employees will be able to do this work under Moonlighting Policy

Under Swiggy\'s new moonlighting policy, workers will be able to volunteer in an NGO or as a trainer in a DOS training institute. Apart from this, Swiggy employees can also select work according to their talent, they just have to keep in mind that there is no conflict of interest between Swiggy company with the work they are doing.

Workers will get help in maintaining the family

Swiggy has said that the moonlighting policy has been prepared with great care. The company has said that a large population in the country has learned new things during the lockdown due to Kovid 19. They can use these skills to support their family. He has been given this opportunity under the Moonlighting Scheme.
