New Delhi, Feb 14 (IANS) AAP leader and Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal Saturday reached out to defeated BJP leader Kiran Bedi and Congress leader Ajay Makhan, saying he will consult them on how to develop Delhi.
Addressing thousands at the Ramlila Maidan here, Kejriwal said he held Kiran Bedi, his former colleague in the Gandhian Anna Hazare-led anti-corruption movement, in high regard. "I consider her as my elder sister."
"Our government will consult her as she has vast administrative experience."
Similarly, he said he would also periodically consult Maken, who he added also had experience as a central minister in formulating and implementing policies. "We will take his guidance."
Saying he would take along all sections of Delhi in running the Aam Aadmi Party government, Kejriwal said there were good people in other political parties too.
Reciprocating the gesture, Maken tweeted: "Kejriwal has begun well on a positive note. Wish him all the best and all support to him on his efforts for Delhi."
