Indian Foreign Minister S Jaishankar is currently on a tour of America. During an event in Washington DC, he was asked questions about Khalistan, during which he praised the Sikh community and said that the number of extremists is very small and they do not represent the entire community. During a press conference in Washington DC on Friday, S Jaishankar said that everyone knows how much the Modi government cares for the Sikh community. In the last 10 years, the government has taken many steps for the Sikhs.

The Foreign Minister supported the Sikh community

Jaishankar said 'I do not think that the discussion (Khalistan issue) that is going on these days represents the entire Sikh community. Those who are talking about terrorism, and separatism are very few people on whom the respective governments should take action, we should not consider it a matter of the entire community. During this, S Jaishankar also targeted Canada and said that the current problem has happened due to the Canadian government giving exemption to terrorism, radicalism, and violence.

The Indian Foreign Minister said that 'the fact is that this problem has happened with Canada and the Canadian government in recent years and this problem is happening because of the exemption of terrorism, radicalism and violence. Jaishankar said that the exemption being given by Canada also shows that we had demanded the extradition of some people but till now no response has been given from their side. The fact is that these are the people who are involved in violence and illegal activities in India and they have announced this. Meaning, this is not a hidden matter.
