Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh's name is taken among those actors who have made a distinct identity in the film industry with their ability. Ranveer started his career in the year 2010 with the film 'Band Baaja Baaraat'. Anushka Sharma was seen with him in this film. Pain spilled over three consecutive flop films
Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone have come together for the first time in Karan Johar's chat show 'Coffee with Karan'. In this show, he talked a lot about his personal and professional life. During a heart-to-heart conversation with Karan Johar on the same show, Ranveer Singh also finally talked about his three consecutive unsuccessful films. He said 'I have suffered a lot, especially after Circus was released in the year 2022'.
Ranveer spoke about the film 83
While talking to Karan Johar, Ranveer shared that 'Let me take you back to the pandemic. Coming out of the pandemic, we had this lovely movie '83' (2021), which was loved by everyone. It just released at the wrong time. 48 hours before release, we lost major markets, as they all shut down due to Omicron. Unfortunately, a beloved film suffered the stigma of performing poorly commercially'.
After that came his film 'Jayeshbhai Jordaar', which was released in 2022. Talking about this, Ranveer said, 'Jayeshbhai Jordaar was again a sweet, well-intentioned film that finally found its audience on streaming, in the post-pandemic environment.'
Talking about his third flop film 'Circus', he said, 'I had limited contribution and limited responsibility in Circus. So, I can't beat myself up over it. I had never seen three big flops in a row. So, it was new to me'. Ranveer confessed that he had suffered a lot during this period, but now he is very happy.
