Virat Kohli once again did not bat in the match played between Bangalore and Rajasthan on Tuesday, but his energy in the match was amazing. During the innings of Rajasthan, R Ashwin came to bat at number-3. He was scoring runs fast. In the fourth over, Ashwin hit Siraj for two fours in two consecutive balls. After that, he bowled the next ball at a slow pace on the fourth stump.

On the last ball of the over, Virat Kohli told Siraj - Brother, hit it with a bouncer, it will be out. Siraj obeyed Virat and on the last ball, Ashwin bowled a brilliant bouncer outside the off-stump.

Ashwin wanted to pull off the slammed ball. The ball took the upper part of the bat and Siraj took a brilliant catch off his delivery. When Ashwin was going back to the pavilion, Harbhajan Singh, who was doing commentary, also praised Kohli for his decision. In the match, Kohli also took a brilliant catch from Bolt.

Kohli's poor performance continues

Virat Kohli got a chance to open against Rajasthan in IPL 2022, but once again he failed to play big innings. The former RCB captain was dismissed by famous Krishna and caught by Riyan Parag at a backward point. Virat returned to the pavilion after scoring 9 runs in 10 balls.

In the last five innings, only 22 runs have come off Virat's bat. Talking about IPL, he has not been able to score 500 runs even once in the last 6 seasons.

The batsman who scored 70 centuries longed for a century for two and a half years

Kohli has not scored a century in the last 102 matches of competitive cricket. Kohli's last century came in the Test match against Bangladesh on 23 November 2019. Since then he has played 73 innings (Test, ODI, T20I) in international cricket without a century.
