Now the damage is being assessed by the district administration. Apart from this, Sarvari Nala is overflowing due to the flood caused by a cloudburst. Big cracks have appeared in the road connecting the bus stand near Bhootnath temple, and the Danga is on the verge of getting submerged in the river.

 

The foot bridge connecting Hanuman Bagh has also reached the state of breaking. The foot bridge in Sarvari has also suffered a lot of damage. In view of heavy rains, instructions have been issued by the district administration to keep all educational institutions closed on Tuesday.

 

People came out of their homes after the cloudburst

 

According to the information received, a cloudburst occurred in Samana of Laghati at around 2:00 pm last night. On hearing the sound of a cloudburst, the villagers came out of their homes.

 

However, there has been no loss of life in this. But due to heavy rain, the debris from the drain also entered the houses of the people. As soon as the information of the cloudburst in Laghati was received, the district administration also evacuated the people living in slums on the banks of the river drain in Sarvari.

 

All educational institutions closed in Kullu

 

Deputy Commissioner Kullu Torul S Ravish said that heavy rains are continuing in the district of Kullu. In such a situation, corporation buses are also not able to run in many areas, and the roads are also closed for vehicles.

 

Instructions have been issued to close all the educational institutions of the district Kullu on Tuesday. At the same time, he also urged the local people not to go to the rivers and drains at all in view of the bad weather.
