Legendary batsman Sunil Gavaskar believes India should learn from the T20 World Cup match against South Africa and abandon their ego and adapt to the conditions instead of going into the field with overconfidence and trying to hit every ball over the boundary.
Sunil Gavaskar gave important advice to the Indian team
In fact, Gavaskar told Geo Star that India did not learn any lessons from South Africa. The Indian batsmen were coming to the crease and trying to hit every ball over the boundary. T20 cricket is not played like that.
Furthermore, he said,
I would consider bringing Axar Patel back into the playing XI, especially considering the lack of many left-handed batsmen in the Zimbabwe team. You could replace him with Arshdeep Singh. Arshdeep bowled very well against South Africa, and you wouldn't want to change a player who is in such good form. So, perhaps the team won't make any changes and go with the same team. - Sunil Gavaskar
The Indian team has played a total of five matches in the T20 World Cup so far, four of which were in the group stage and one in the Super 8 stage. India won against the USA, Namibia, Pakistan, and the Netherlands in the group stage, but lost to South Africa by 76 runs in their first Super 8 match. India now faces Zimbabwe on February 26th, a match in which victory will be crucial for the team.
Which team has what net run rate? (Super 8 Group 1)

South Africa: +3.800
India: -3.800
Zimbabwe: -5.350
Super 8 Group 2
England: +2.550
