The cases of the country corona are declining rapidly, but the daily death toll figures have still raised concern. Corona was confirmed in 1 lakh 74 thousand 83 people in the country on the previous day. This figure of newly infected is the lowest in the last 47 days. Earlier, on April 12, 1 lakh 60 thousand 854 new patients were found.

 

However, the deaths due to corona are not taking the name of pause. In the last 24 hours, 3,611 people died. In May, an average of 3,500 to 4,000 deaths are being recorded daily. It is also a matter of relief that the number of patients recovering from the epidemic is also increasing continuously. On Friday, 2 lakh 84 thousand 332 people beat Corona.

 

Along with this, the number of active cases, ie patients being treated, is also decreasing. On Friday, 1 lakh 14 thousand 947 active cases were reduced in the country. In the last 19 days, more than 1.5 million active cases have been reduced. On May 9, the maximum number of active cases was 37.41 lakhs. Now, these have come down to about 22.12 lakhs.

Restrictions like lockdown in 19 states

 

There are restrictions like complete lockdown in 19 states of the country. These include Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Mizoram, Goa, Telangana, West Bengal, and Puducherry. There are stringent restrictions like the previous lockdown.

 

Partial lockdown in 13 states/UTC

 

There is a partial lockdown in 13 states and union territories of the country. That is, there are restrictions here, but there are also exemptions. These include Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Uttarakhand, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Assam, Manipur, Tripura, Andhra Pradesh, and Gujarat.

According to the Health Ministry, more than 22.77 crore doses of vaccine have been made available to states and union territories. He currently has more than 1.82 crore doses of vaccine available.

 

The Delhi government has invited bids for a global tender for the purchase of 10 million doses of the Coronavirus vaccine. The last date for bidding is June 7.

1. Maharashtra

 

On Friday, 20,740 people were found infected. 31,671 people recovered and 973 people died. So far, 56.92 lakh people have been infected in the state. Of this 53.07 lakh, people have been cured, while 93,198 people have died. 2.89 lakh patients are currently undergoing treatment.

 

2. Uttar Pradesh

 

On Friday, 2,276 people were found infected. 8,145 people were cured and 154 people died. So far, 16.57 lakh people have been infected in the state. Of these, 16.13 lakh have been cured, while 20,053 patients succumbed. 52,244 patients are being treated here.

 

3. Delhi

 

In Delhi, 1,141 people were found corona positive on Friday. 2,799 people recovered and 139 died. So far, 14.23 lakh people have been infected. Of these, 13.85 lakh people have been cured, while 23,951 patients have died. 14,581 is undergoing treatment here.

 

4. Rajasthan

 

On Friday, 2,648 people were found corona infected. 11,177 people recovered and 78 died. So far, 9.33 lakh people have been affected by the infection in the state. Of these, 8.63 lakh people have been cured, while 8,181 patients have died. At present, 62,492 patients are undergoing treatment.

 

5. Gujarat

 

On Friday, 2,521 people were found corona positive in the state. 7,965 people recovered and 27 died. So far, 8.03 lakh people have been infected. Of these, 7.50 lakh people have been cured, while 9,761 patients have died. 43,611 people are being treated here.

 

6. Madhya Pradesh

 

On Friday, 1,854 people were found corona positive in the state. 5,796 people recovered and 63 died. So far, 7.75 lakh people have been infected. Of these, 7.33 lakh people have been cured, while 7,891 people have died. 34,322 patients are undergoing treatment.
