New Delhi: In view of Coronavirus, the Central Government is considering to extend the lockdown implemented in the country for 53 days after May 17. The central government has made complete preparations for this. According to the sources of the Union Home Ministry, orders regarding lockdown 4.0 will be issued soon.
According to the NDTV report, in the Lockdown 4.0, air transport flight permits for public transport and some places can also be found. Officials told the channel that public transport will be exempted in non-hotspot areas, in which buses will also be allowed to run. The official further explained that the state government has to decide how buses will run in the non-hotspot area. Also, a travel pass will be required to travel from one state to another.
The hotspot area will be decided by the state- The official told that the states have to decide the hotspot area in lockdown 4. Earlier, there was a dispute in the list of hotspot area released by the Center, after which the Chief Ministers of the state raised the issue in conversation with PM Modi.
114 Red Zone - There are 114 Red Zone in the country, in which Lockdown 4.0 can be implemented. However, many states argue that leaving the Containment Zone, the Red Zone area should be allowed to be restored. According to the data released by the state government, on April 30, there were around 32000 corona patients in India, which has risen beyond 78000 by May 13, which is more than double. Corona patients came out of the red zone the most in these figures.
PM had given the hint- During the address, PM Modi said, the new lockdown will be with new rules, which will be decided according to the suggestion of the states. Let me tell you that earlier many state government had opposed the PM not taking suggestions on lockdown.
