According to the Election Commission, 60 percent of voting took place on five seats in Bihar. However, this is 01.22 percent less than the previous LOS election. 55.22 percent voting took place on 25 seats in Gujarat, while the BJP candidate was elected unopposed on the Surat Lok Sabha seat.
70 percent voting took place in Chhattisgarh. Here, there has been less voting in urban areas and more voting in rural and tribal areas. In other states, 74.32 percent of voting took place in Goa, 66.05 percent in Karnataka, 65.23 percent in Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, and 62.28 percent in Madhya Pradesh till 5 pm.
