Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Sunday fiercely targeted former Delhi Chief Minister and AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal. Accusing Kejriwal of corruption and tarnishing the reputation of his birthplace, he said that Kejriwal's place is in Tihar Jail.
Kejriwal betrayed the people of Delhi - CM Saini.
Nayab Singh Saini wrote on his handle X that corrupt Kejriwal has tarnished the land where he was born. His place is not in Haryana but in Tihar Jail.
He also posted a video on X, in which he can be seen attacking Arvind Kejriwal over corruption in the national capital.
The Haryana CM said in the video, 'Corrupt Arvind Kejriwal has betrayed the people of Delhi, he will be sent to Tihar Jail after February 5.'
Rally in support of BJP candidate
Earlier in the day, while addressing a rally in support of BJP candidate Gajendra Daral in Mundka's Rani Kheda area, Saini accused Kejriwal of lying. He claimed that Kejriwal failed to clean the river while he was in power.
Saini said, "Aam Aadmi Party's national convenor Arvind Kejriwal has opened a shop of lies, which the people of Delhi will shut down on February 8." Terming AAP's claims of poisoning the Yamuna as propaganda, CM Saini said that Arvind Kejriwal has opened a shop of lies, which the people of Delhi will shut down by ousting AAP from power in the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections.
Accused Kejriwal of lying
The CM further claimed that Kejriwal lies only for his benefit. He said that when he talked about poisoning the Yamuna, I was also worried because he had accused me as well, but I want to tell you that Kejriwal, you were born on the soil of Haryana, but you have put a black spot on that soil.
Targeting Kejriwal, he said that when you are not from Haryana, how can you be from Delhi? Because of lying, they can do anything for their benefit.
Elections will be held in Delhi on 5 February.
It is worth noting that recently Arvind Kejriwal had said that the poisonous water of Yamuna being sent to Delhi has now stopped. The amount of ammonia in the water coming to Delhi has decreased from 7 ppm to 2 ppm. Let us tell you that elections will be held in a single phase in Delhi on 5 February, while the counting of votes will be done on 8 February.
