The decrease in new cases continues amid fears of a third wave of Coronavirus in India in the country. After 200 days in the country, the active cases of corona have come down to the lowest level. According to the Union Health Ministry, 2 lakh 64 thousand 458 people are currently undergoing treatment in the country. Which is the lowest in 200 days. With this so far 3 crores 31 lakh 21 thousand 247 people have been cured in the country. However, so far 4 lakh 48 thousand 997 people have died due to Covid.
After the new cases, the number of patients undergoing treatment in the country has come down by 6 thousand 99 in the last one day. At the same time, the total number of confirmed cases in the country has gone up to 3 crores 38 lakh 34 thousand 72.
12,297 new cases, 74 deaths in Kerala
With 12,297 new cases of Covid-19 being reported in Kerala on Sunday, the total number of infected people increased to 47,20,233, while the total death toll has increased to 25,377 after 74 more patients died.
2,692 new cases of corona in Maharashtra, 41 died
On Sunday, 2,692 new cases of the coronavirus were reported in Maharashtra and 41 infected people died. On the last day, 2,716 patients were discharged from the hospital after treatment. There are a total of 65,59,349 cases of Covid-19 in the state, out of which 1,39,207 infected people have died and 63,80,670 people have recovered from the infection. 35,888 infected people are being treated in the state.
