More than 21 lakh people have been affected by the storm in Bengal and Odisha. 4 people died due to rain and the breakdown of homes. Of these, 3 are from Odisha and one from Bengal. From the places of Digha, Shankarpur, Mandaramani South 24 Parganas district of East Medinipur district, Bakkhali, Sandeshkhali, Sagar, Fraserganj, Sundarbans, etc., the houses of 3 lakh people were destroyed in this storm. 134 dams have been broken, which are being repaired.
