The temperature is expected to drop further in Delhi on Saturday. The minimum temperature in the city is likely to be between 9-10 degrees Celsius. A light fog was observed at many places in Delhi in the morning. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) said that the maximum temperature would be around 26 degrees Celsius.

Heavy rain is likely because a low pressure over the southeast Bay of Bengal will move west-westwards and concentrate into a depression over the central Bay of Bengal during the next 48 hours. It is expected to move northwestwards and cross Bengal. It will remain active along the coast between North Tamil Nadu and South Andhra for the next three days.
An official of the Meteorological Department said that many places in Tamil Nadu have been cloudy during the day since evening. There is a possibility of rain in many places in the next few days and on Saturday as well.
