New Delhi, March 27 (IANS) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday expressed grief at the passing away of former union minister P.R. Kyndiah and extended his condolences to the bereaved family, an official release said.
Modi described Kyndiah as a popular leader who worked tirelessly for Meghalaya and the northeast, the release said.
Congress leader Kyndiah, 87, passed away on Thursday night following a cardiac arrest.
