The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) has decided to withdraw the hiked prices of Phosphatic and Potash fertilizers for the entire year 2021-22. Along with this, it has also been decided to increase the subsidy on Phosphatic and Potash Fertilizers by Rs 438 per bag.
Earlier, an important meeting of the Modi cabinet was held. An additional Rs 28,655 crore subsidy was announced in this meeting for phaspatik and potassic fertilizers.
The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) chaired by the Union Government has approved Nutrient Based Subsidy (NBS) for NP&K fertilizers i.e. Phosphatic and Potassic fertilizers for the period October 2021 to March 2022. rates have been approved. This decision has been taken at a time when farmers are continuously agitating against the bill.

The government has announced a net subsidy of Rs 28,655 crore on Phosphatic and Potash ((P&K) fertilizers. This will enable farmers to make available fertilizers at affordable prices for the sowing of Rabi crops. Begins in October.
