Mohammad Zubair Case: Urgent hearing of Zubair from Supreme Court, cancel all FIRs registered in UP

Alt News co-founder Mohammad Zubair has once again reached the Supreme Court. He has demanded the cancellation of all the six FIRs registered against him in UP.

 

Senior advocate Vrinda Grover, appearing for Zubair in the Supreme Court, sought an urgent hearing on his plea. He also challenged the formation of SIT. A bench headed by CJI asked Grover to mention the matter for an urgent hearing before a bench of Justice DY Chandrachud. The same bench had earlier passed the order in his case.

 

Lawyer Vrinda Grover said that told the court that Zubair has been taken to Hathras court and has been asked to present him in the court there. After hearing the arguments of Vrinda Grover, the Supreme Court decided to hear the matter today.

Today, there will be a court appearance against Mohammad Zubair in the court of Hathras, UP. Two cases have been registered against Zubair for inciting religious sentiments in the district. Recently, Delhi Police had brought him here from Tihar Jail for production. The court sent him to jail for 14 days in judicial custody. Now in the case registered against Mohammad Zubair in Kotwali Sadar, the investigator has given an application for remand to take him into custody remand. The court summoned him again on Monday.
