Uttarakhand- Himachal Pradesh has already faced flood-landslides due to monsoon rains. In such a situation, an orange alert has been issued for Uttarakhand. Not only this but a forecast of heavy rain has also been issued for 3-4 days in many states of the country. Due to the active monsoon, wherever the rain has decreased, there can be replenishment. Apart from this, once again the incidents of floods and landslides are likely to increase in the hilly areas. This is the reason why an alert has been issued by the Meteorological Department.

Let us inform you that between the last 2-3 weeks, there has been a brake on rain in Uttarakhand and North West. According to media reports, it has received about 61 percent rain, but now the brakes on the pace of monsoon are going to be removed, under which the rainy season will start in the hilly areas from today. In such a situation, once again the incidents of floods and landslides are expected to increase here.
Rain alert in these states of the country for the next five days
According to Skymet Weather, Delhi, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh may receive heavy rains with lightning for the next five days. Apart from this, a heavy rain alert has been issued in Uttarakhand on Thursday and Friday, due to which the Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert in the whole of Uttarakhand. Here the yellow alert will continue with the orange alert till August 23. In such a situation, the areas of the country where the rains have not been good can be compensated.

A yellow alert has been issued in Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and East Rajasthan from today till Saturday. The main reason for the change in weather conditions has been attributed to the southward shift of the western end of the Monsoon Trough. This Monsoon trough will shift southwards in the next two days.

The system is very likely to move west-northwestwards in the next few days and cross Madhya Pradesh on Friday, Uttar Pradesh on Saturday, and reach Rajasthan on Sunday. Due to low pressure, an alert of heavy rain has been issued in these areas.
