You were surprised, weren't you? But something similar has happened in Peru. Here an 800-year-old mummy has been recovered from the bag of a 26-year-old food delivery boy. Seeing the mummy as a pauper, when the police inquired, the food delivery boy said a shocking thing. He said that she is my spiritual girlfriend. At present, the police have seized the mummy and started an investigation.

What is the whole matter?

The Peruvian police detained 26-year-old Julio Cesar Bermejo on Tuesday. Julio works in a food delivery company. Police recovered a mummy (human skeleton) about 600 to 800 years old from his bag. The mummy was in the same bag Julio used to deliver food to people's homes.

In the interrogation by the police, he said surprising things. Claimed that his father had bought this mummy from someone 30 years ago and brought it home. The food delivery boy named it 'Juanita'. A video of this is also going viral. In this, Julio is seen saying that Juanita (Mummy) stays at home with me in my room. She sleeps with me and I take care of her. She is my spiritual lover. He was going to show it to his friends.

What does the government have to say?

The statement of the Ministry of Culture of Peru has come on this issue. The ministry said the pre-Hispanic remains were a 'mummified adult male'. Which was probably from the eastern region of Puno. This place is about 1,300 kilometers (more than 800 miles) southeast of Lima.

An expert from the ministry said, 'It is not Mami Juanita but it is Juan. The person who has this skeleton was at least 45 years old. It was wrapped in bandages. The Ministry of Culture said, 'The mummified remains have been taken into possession for protection and conservation.
