MPPSC-2019 Result Ban: High Court orders to prepare results from old rules, decision came in 89 pages

Madhya Pradesh High Court has stayed the result of MPPSC-2019. Terming the amended rule 17/2/2020 as unconstitutional, the court has ordered to prepare the result again. The order has come on page 89.

 

 

Let us inform you that about 60 students had filed a petition. The result was challenged by advocates Rameshwar Singh Thakur and Vinayak Prasad Shah including section 4(4) of the Reservation Act 1994 and amendment 17/2/2020. The court was told that the government had brought the amended rules on 17 February 2020. Under the new rule, a rule was made to not include the meritorious students of the reserved category in the general category.

 

 

The government, while replying in the High Court, had said to withdraw the disputed rules. Amidst these controversies, the MP Public Service Commission had declared the results of the PSC 2019 Mains Exam. These results were released under controversial rules. These results have been canceled by the High Court and ordered that the result should be issued again under the old rules. According to the information, there were a total of 330 posts in which major posts like SDM, and DSP were also included.
