Let us tell you that the spacecraft collided with a small asteroid named Dimorphos at 4.45 am. The length of the asteroid that hit the Dart spacecraft was 169 meters. The Livestream showing it live showed cube-shaped images taken by DART's camera.

This was the DART mission

The DART mission was designed to determine whether a spacecraft is capable of changing the direction of an asteroid through accelerating force and whether this could protect our planet from future damage. Let us tell that our earth is more threatened by an asteroid than global warming and this mission is being seen as a big success.
