After heavy rains, the danger of flood has now arisen in the plain states including Delhi, UP, and Punjab-Haryana. From the desert state of Rajasthan to the hilly states, all the major rivers including Ganga, Yamuna, and Beas are in spate.

Many roads including Hisar to Ambala National Highway have been closed.
