However, initially, it will be available only in private hospitals. It can be booked through the Covin app. Bharat Biotech said in a statement that this vaccine will start being available from the fourth week of January next month.
18+ will get the nasal vaccine
iNCOVACC (BBV154) vaccine has been included in the vaccination campaign last week. On September 6, the Drug Controller General (DCGI) approved this vaccine only for emergency use, but now it has been approved as a booster dose. Only people above 18 years of age will be able to take the nasal vaccine.
What is the nasal vaccine?
The Nasal Vaccine is given through the nose. Unlike other vaccines, it is not injected. Only two drops of vaccine are put in the nose. The company said that this vaccine had a successful clinical trial in Phase I, II, and III. Let us tell you that right now people in the country are being given Covishield and Covax of Serum Institute, Covaxin of Bharat Biotech, Russian vaccine Sputnik V and indigenous Corbevax vaccine.

More than 220 crore vaccines were given
So far more than 220 crore doses of Covid vaccine have been administered in India. The first dose has been given to 102.71 crore people, while more than 95 crores have been given the second dose. Along with this, precautionary dose has also been given to more than 22.23 crore people.
