The re-examination of 1563 students who got grace marks due to a waste of time in the NEET UG exam was conducted on Sunday, 23 June. However, only 813 students (52%) appeared for the re-examination. 750 students (48%) were absent. Centers were set up in these states
The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the re-examination at seven examination centers in Haryana, Gujarat, Meghalaya, Chhattisgarh and Chandigarh. In Chandigarh, both the two students did not appear for the examination. Two examination centers were set up in Chhattisgarh. In the first, 70 out of 185 children did not appear for the examination. In the second, 241 out of 417 children were absent. An examination center was set up in Surat, Gujarat. Here one child had a re-examination and he was present.
207 children did not appear for the examination in Haryana
287 students appeared for the examination at the centers in Jhajjar district of Haryana. Whereas 207 students did not appear for the exam. In Meghalaya, a total of 464 students had to appear for the exam again. But here 230 students did not appear for the exam. 234 students also appeared for the exam.
