Hamid Ansari had reacted to the political turmoil that broke out after the claims of Pak journalists in the past. He said that all these things are lies. He issued a statement saying that neither any Pakistani journalist was called nor met on his behalf. He had said that the people who came to the program were invited by the Ministry of External Affairs itself. He had no role in this. Now when the BJP has made the allegation again with pictures, there has been another reaction from Hamid Ansari. He said that he stood by his earlier words.

BJP spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia made these allegations by holding a press conference at the headquarters in Delhi.

He asked whether in such a situation it would not be correct to say that Congress wanted a person to come from Pakistan, who wants to play with the unity and integrity of the country.
