The situation on the northern borders is stable but unpredictable, he said. We have been able to resolve five out of the seven issues. We have continued to talk both at the military and diplomatic levels. We have adequate reserves to meet any contingency. While talking about the situation in the Northeast, he said that there is peace in most of the northeastern states. Economic activities and development initiatives have yielded good results.
