Now our eye is on winning UP, says Amit shah

After setting up the final strategy for the Bihar election, Now BJP party Chief Amit Shaha is planning and seeting the BIG goal for BJP leaders on Uttar Pradesh and without any allies. By some reports party will now do more focus on the first phase of its campaign with the increased number; would be the “deteriorating” law and order situation in the country’s most populous state.

 

 

As BJP's Fact Finding Team is already working in uttar pradesh under the eye of Bihar MP Ashwini Chaubey; the team was appointed by the Amit Shah. The team enquires the “deteriorating law and order situation”, and to expose the Samjwadi party government in the state.

 

 

The incident of a woman being set on fire in Barabanki police station in western UP and the murder of journalist Jagendra Singh in Shahjahanpur have given the BJP enough fodder to attack the state government.

The fact-finding team, which includes party MPs M J Akbar, Arjun Meghwal, Meenakshi Lekhi, will investigate the Barabanki incident.

 

 

The party’s campaign would harp on its assurance of providing “honour, good governance and development.”

 

 

BJP units in all assembly constituencies, and even at the mandal level, have been asked to organise demonstrations against the poor law and order situation as well as the state government’s failure in providing basic amenities such as water and electricity.

 

 

The BJP will also talk up the Centre’s decision to devolve more funds to the state, while holding the SP government responsible for the money “not reaching farmers and others at the ground level”. The party’s plans to take on the Akhilesh government received a shot in the arm with senior IPS officer Amitabh Thakur accusing Samjawadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav of threatening him and approaching the Centre for assistance.“Mulayam Singh has been exposed. His entire party is involved in extortion. It is jungle raj there in the state. In UP, accused are protected and honoured. Officials, women and the public are humiliated,” BJP national secretary Shrikant Sharma said.

 

 

Thakur, an IPS officer posted as Inspector General, Civil Defence, in Lucknow, alleged that the SP chief had threatened him during a phone call.

A day later, the Lucknow police registered an FIR against Thakur based on a complaint, filed about six months ago, by a Ghaziabad-based woman alleging that she was raped by Thakur at his Lucknow home on December 31, 2014.
