Under this, 13 temporary police stations and 23 posts have been established in Commissionerate Prayagraj. With the construction of new temporary police stations, there will be 57 police stations in the Commissionerate instead of 44. Security arrangements are being made by dividing the city and rural areas into eight zones and 18 sectors.
Police officials say that new temporary police stations and posts have been built to safely transport the devotees coming from railway stations, bus stands, airports, and other routes to the fair area. Apart from this, paramilitary forces, PAC, bomb disposal squad, and other forces will also be deployed.
