The pair broke the record of 114 runs made by Jason Gillespie and Glenn McGrath for the 10th wicket against New Zealand in Brisbane in 2004. Let us tell you that in Australian Test history, Green-Hazelwood made the fourth-highest partnership for the 10th wicket.

The record for the highest partnership for the 10th wicket for Australia is held by Ashton Agar and Phil Hughes, who made a partnership of 163 runs against England in Nottingham in 2013. The pair of Arthur Alfred Malley and John Morris Taylor occupy the second place in this list, who made a partnership of 127 runs against England in Sydney in 1924.
The pair of Warwick Windies Armstrong and Reginald Alexander Duff are in third place in this list, who made a partnership of 120 runs for the 10th wicket against England in 1902. The Green-Hazelwood pair has occupied the fourth position.

However, major credit for the partnership between Cameron Green and Josh Hazlewood goes to the top-order batsman. Coming in at number four, Green not only played a memorable innings but also put the team in a pleasant position. Green scored unbeaten 174 runs in 275 balls with the help of 23 fours and five sixes. Josh Hazlewood scored 22 runs in 62 balls with the help of four fours. Matt Henry broke this partnership by getting Hazlewood caught out by Ravindra.
New Zealand's poor condition
