It has also been confirmed that Rajkumar Rao will be seen in the role of Dada i.e. Sourav Ganguly.

In a conversation with NDTV, actor Rajkumar Rao confirmed that he will play the lead role in the biopic of the former Indian captain. Rajkumar Rao said, 'Now that Dada has said this, I should also officially announce it. Yes, I am doing his biopic and playing the role of Dada. I am also very nervous about this role of Dada. Because it is a huge responsibility, but it is going to be a lot of fun.'

 

The actor learned Bengali for the character.

 

During this, Rajkumar Rao also mentioned the difficulties in learning Bengali for the film. However, it was not that difficult for him, because his wife Patralekha is also a Bengali. Therefore, he learns Bengali from his wife. However, it was difficult for Rajkumar to prepare himself for the role.

Earlier this year, Sourav Ganguly himself had talked about his biopic and said that Rajkumar Rao would play his role. However, after this, there were some speculations due to date problems in between. Now Rajkumar Rao has confirmed his role by confirming the film. Now Rajkummar Rao is in the news for his action-thriller film 'Malik'. The film is releasing in theaters on July 11. Manushi Chillar will be seen in the lead role alongside Rajkummar Rao in the film.
