There has been a sudden drop in corona cases in the country. Only 30 thousand 681 cases came on Sunday. This is the lowest figure since 14 July. Then there were 29 thousand 917 cases. In the last 24 hours, 44 thousand 111 patients have also been cured. 434 infected people died. In this way, 13 thousand 882 active cases were reduced.
So far, 88.45 lakh cases have been reported in the country. Of these, 82.47 lakh patients were cured. 1.30 lakh patients died. Currently, 4.65 lakh patients are undergoing treatment.
The Central Government has taken a major decision on Sunday to reduce the growing cases of Corona in Delhi. Now there will be more than 1 lakh test in Delhi every day. Right now 40-50 thousand tests are being done. Apart from this, 750 ICU beds will also be prepared by the Central Government in DRDO Center.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah met for this on Sunday. Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Delhi's Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, and many big officials were present. Chief Minister Kejriwal said that the Central Government has assured all possible help to curb the growing cases of Corona in Delhi. BiPAP machines will also be provided to the Delhi government by the Center. This will increase the number of ICU beds in hospitals.

The number of RT-PCR tests will be doubled in Delhi. ICMR's mobile testing van will be run in areas where more infections are being reported. Anyone can come on these vans and get a check.
The hospitals of MCD will be converted into Covid-19 Dedicated Hospitals. Corona patients with mild symptoms will be treated here.
More and more oxygen cylinders, high-flow nasal cannula, and other necessary equipment will be given to Delhi Government.
The dedicated multi-department team will inspect all private hospitals in Delhi. There the medical infrastructure for Covid-19 will examine the methods of recruitment of patients and the availability of beds.
Plasma donation and transfusion cases will be protocol. It will be attended by experts from NITI Aayog, Dr. VK Paul, AIIMS, and DG ICMR.
Containment zones will be identified. There will be a focus on contact tracing, quarantine facilities, and screening. The CAPF and paramedical staff doctors will be called to Delhi by airlift.
India slips to fourth place in daily deaths due to corona
India has now slipped to fourth place in the world in terms of daily deaths from Corona. There were a total of 3626 deaths in the last 7 days in India, which is less than half of the US. If we look at the statistics of daily deaths, only 5.21% of the world's deaths are happening in India. Here only Delhi and Bihar are the states where deaths have increased in the last month, while the pace of deaths has decreased in all the other states. This is why the death toll has fallen. If this trend continues, then in the next 4-5 days, India will slip to fifth position in terms of daily deaths.

On Sunday, 247 people were found corona positive in the state. 614 people recovered and 5 died. So far, 2 lakh 26 thousand 916 people have been infected. Among them, 5867 patients are being treated. 2 lakh 19 thousand 864 people have been cured so far. 1184 patients have died due to infection.
4. Maharashtra
On Sunday, 2544 people were found infected in the state. 3065 people recovered and 60 patients died. So far 17 lakh 47 thousand 242 people have been infected. Among these, 84 thousand 918 patients are being treated, while 16 lakh 15 thousand 379 people have been cured. The number of people who lost their lives to infection has now reached 45 thousand 974.
5. Uttar Pradesh
On Sunday, 1401 people were found infected in Uttar Pradesh. 1783 people were recovered and 18 patients died. With this, the number of infected people has now reached 5 lakh 11 thousand 304. In these, 22 thousand 967 patients are being treated, while 4 lakh 80 thousand 965 people have been cured. The number of people who lost their lives to infection has now reached 7372.
