Later it was learned that alert soldiers of the Border Security Force had killed a Pakistani infiltrator in the Pope Bhule Chak sector of Arnia. Under the cover of mist, this Pakistani infiltrator was trying to enter the Indian border.
According to information received from BSF sources, an unidentified person was seen moving towards the Indian border from across the border in the mist. As the man started approaching the Indian border, he was warned. Despite warnings, he continued to move towards the Indian border. Once again he was asked to return but as soon as he stepped into the border of the Indian border, the BSF personnel opened fire and killed him there. The body of the intruder is still visible lying on the border.
