After facing defeat in Operation Sindoor, Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Monday expressed his desire for peace talks with India to resolve all issues including Kashmir, terrorism, water, and trade.

He expressed this desire after reaching Iran in the second phase of his four-nation visit.

Want peace talks with India: Shehbaz.

After reaching Iran's capital, Tehran, from Turkey, Shehbaz (India-Pakistan conflict) met President Masoud Pezeshkian. Later, in a joint press conference, Shehbaz said that he is ready to talk with India for the sake of peace. He also threatened retaliation if India chose the path of war.

Shehbaz again claimed a fake victory.

Shehbaz said, "If they select to remain aggressive, we will protect our territory... as we did a few days ago. But if they accept my peace proposal, we will show that we want peace seriously and honestly.''

Shehbaz claimed that Pakistan was victorious in the four-day conflict with India.

India has given a clear message.

It is noteworthy that India has made it clear that it will talk with Pakistan only on the issue of the return of its occupied Kashmir and terrorism. Shehbaz also praised Pezeshkian's concern during the India-Pakistan conflict. He also praised Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi for visiting Pakistan during this period and called him an excellent diplomat.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Army Chief Field Marshal Asim Munir, Interior Minister Mohsin Raza Naqvi, Information Minister Ataullah Tarar, and Prime Minister's Special Assistant Tariq Fatmi have also gone with Shehbaz.
