During that time the umpire did not give a no-ball to the third ball of the last over, after which Pant got angry and he signaled his batsmen to return. In return, Pant had to lose 100% of his match fee.

During this match, Delhi captain Rishabh Pant was seen arguing with the umpire over a no-ball, which brought back memories of the match between Rajasthan Royals and Delhi. This incident happened in the 17th over of the innings bowled by Lalit Yadav. Nitish Rana sent the third ball of the over for six runs over deep point. Along with this, the leg-umpire also called that ball a no-ball due to the height.

Kuldeep Yadav came to bowl in the 8th over of KKR's innings and took 2 wickets in 2 consecutive balls in his very first over. On the second ball of the over, Yadav dismissed Baba Inderjit (6).
