Through this, he came in contact with Abu Bakr al-Shami and took training in making IEDs. He also took training in making hand grenades, bombs, etc. through social media apps. Sabauddin created a mail-id in the name of RSS and created a Facebook account from it to mark the RSS members as targets.
He was brought to the ATS headquarters for questioning and the data of his mobile phone was searched. In this, it was confirmed that Sabauddin Azmi used to brainwash Muslim youth through the telegram channel Al Shakr Media. Sabauddin is an active member of MP Asauddin Owaisi's party AIMIM. According to the people and family members of the locality, he was also preparing to contest the election of the councilor from the municipal ward Nine Amarillo in the upcoming elections.
Terrorist Sabauddin works as a weaver. As soon as the news of Sabauddin's arrest as a terrorist reached the house on Tuesday evening, the family members were shocked. A crowd of people gathered at the house. The family members continued to deny having any kind of information.
Sabauddin Azmi is the youngest of five brothers. All live as a joint family. There is a handloom in the house itself, which is run by all the brothers of Sabauddin. His father has passed away. Elder brother Musaluddin told that Sabauddin has been doing weaving work while staying at home. He had gone to Mumbai five years ago. Stayed there for a month and did AC work. Sabauddin's fourth number brother Mohd. Salim used to live in Dubai for livelihood and he has returned only a month ago. Sabauddin was picked up by the ATS from his home in Amilo, but no one was aware that he was picked up due to the wire connection as a terrorist.
Sabauddin also started planning to form an organization like ISIS in India, to avenge the action being taken on Mujahids, etc. He has also learned the method of making IEDs and was planning to carry out a big terrorist incident before Independence Day.
