Several people are reported to have died in a collision between two planes in California, USA. According to official statements, there was a collision between two small planes in mid-air, this accident happened while trying to land. No official information has been given so far about the people killed in the accident.

The crash occurred in Watsonville, California when two small planes were trying to land at a local airport. An official statement posted on Twitter said rescuers arrived at Watsonville Municipal Airport after a collision between planes. The accident happened at around 2.56 pm (local time). An investigation is underway to find out what caused the accident.

No concrete information has been made available about the incident so far. A statement issued by the city administration said that more information would be made available during the day.
