The echo of rising inflation in the country is also being heard in Parliament. On Monday, there was a huge uproar in both houses of Parliament on the issue of inflation. Rajya Sabha proceedings had to be adjourned due to uproar by opposition MPs, while members staged a walkout after the uproar in the Lok Sabha.

The opposition MPs from parties other than Congress and TMC were demanding a discussion on the issue of inflation. Many MPs including Rajya Sabha MP KC Venugopal, Abir Ranjan Biswas, and Vinay Vishwas demanded discussion. The MPs had also given notices regarding this, but Chairman Venkaiah Naidu did not allow the discussion. Opposition MPs started a ruckus when the notice was denied. Opposition MPs started raising slogans near the chair's podium. Rajya Sabha proceedings were adjourned till Tuesday.

 

Walkout of opposition MPs from Lok Sabha

 

In the Rajya Sabha, there was a loud uproar in the Lok Sabha on the issue of inflation. Opposition MPs were opposing the rising prices and inflation of petrol and diesel. MPs from Congress, TMC, Left parties and Shiv Sena staged a walkout from the House.

 

BJP issued whip

 

BJP has issued a whip for all its members of Rajya Sabha from April 5 to 8. This is the last week of the second phase of the budget session of Parliament. In such a situation, it is being estimated that the Modi government will try to get seven important bills passed. These bills also include the Municipal Corporation of Delhi Amendment Bill and the Criminal Procedure (Identity) Bill.

 

Petrol and diesel prices increased again today

 

Petrol and diesel prices have also increased on Tuesday. On April 5, the price of petrol and diesel has increased by 80 paise per liter. Let us inform you that in the last 15 days, fuel prices have increased for the 13th time. Fuel prices have gone up by Rs 9.20 per liter in the last 15 days.
