Corona: Huge increase in corona cases, 50 percent more patients were found than yesterday, 21 died

The increase in the number of corona infections in the country has once again raised the concerns of the people. According to Monday's data released by the Ministry of Health, 17,073 new cases of corona have been reported in the last 24 hours, which is almost 50 percent more than yesterday. At the same time, 21 patients lost their lives. Let us tell you that 11,739 cases were reported in yesterday's figure and 25 patients died. However, 15,208 people were also discharged in the last 24 hours. The number of active patients in the country has reached 94,420 which is 1,844 more than yesterday. A total of 52,50,20 people have died since the beginning of the epidemic.

 

666 new corona cases in Delhi

 

In the last 24 hours, 666 new cases of corona have been reported in Delhi and six people have died. At the same time, the infection rate was recorded at 7.8 percent. The total number of active cases is 4717. The most worrying thing is that in the last week, on June 17, there were 190 containment zones in Delhi, which have increased to 322 by June 24.

 

6,493 cases of corona in the last 24 hours in Maharashtra

 

In Maharashtra, 6,493 cases of corona have been reported in the last 24 hours and during this time five patients died. With this, the total number of infected in the state has increased to 79,56,848 and the death toll has increased to 1,47,905. According to the report of BJ Medical College, Pune, 3 patients of Omicron sub-variant BA.5 and 2 patients of BA.4 were detected in Maharashtra. The department informed that all these samples were collected from 10 to 20 June 2022.
