Prime Minister Narendra Modi today interacted with the Prime Minister's National Children's Award (PMRBP) winners through video conferencing. Union Women and Child Development Minister Smriti Irani, Minister of State Dr. Munjpara Mahendrabhai, and children along with their parents and DMs of the respective districts were also present in this program. During this, the Prime Minister presented digital certificates to the PMRBP awardees for the years 2022 and 2021 using Blockchain technology.

 

PM told the children - now the responsibility has increased, but do not have to take pressure

 

During this, PM Modi told the children that along with the awards, you have also got the responsibility. Now everyone's expectation from you has also increased. He said that whatever happens, you do not have to take the pressure, you have to take inspiration from all this. The PM said that heroes like Veer Bala Kanaklata Barua, Khudiram Bose have a history that fills them with pride. These fighters had made the country's independence the mission of their lives at a very young age. Dedicated yourself to him, you all have to act like him.

 

Referred to the statue of Netaji, asked the children to take inspiration

 

During his interaction with the children, PM Modi also mentioned the hologram statue installed at India Gate yesterday. He asked the children to take inspiration from Netaji's life. The PM said that just as Netaji performed his duties for the country, in the same way, you also have to fulfill your duties towards the country.

 

29 children from across the country got the award

 

This year, 29 children from across the country have been selected for PMRBP-2022 under various categories of Bal Shakti Puraskar. The award winners also participate in the Republic Day Parade every year. Each awardee of PMRBP is presented with a medal, a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh, and a certificate. As per the information received from the PMO, the cash prize will be transferred to the respective accounts of the PMRBP 2022 winners.
