PM Modi: PM Modi will gift many projects to Maharashtra today, will inaugurate National Games in Goa

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will today launch projects worth over Rs 7,500 crore aimed at benefiting over 86 lakh farmers in Maharashtra. Modi will inaugurate the new Darshan Qatar complex after offering prayers at the famous Shri Saibaba temple in Shirdi, an official statement said. He will then perform Jal Pujan of the Nilwande Dam and dedicate the dam's canal network to the nation and later attend a public event in Shirdi to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of several development projects worth about Rs 7,500 crore.

 

PM to inaugurate National Games in Goa

Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate the 37th National Games in Fatorda, Goa today itself. Around 10,000 athletes will participate in this sports fair which will run from October 26 to November 9. Goa-born Indian professional windsurfer Katya Ida Coelho will hand over the torch to the Prime Minister.

 

 

Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said that 'famous artistes including Sukhwinder Singh and Hema Sardesai will perform in the 5-hour grand inauguration ceremony at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Fatorda.' Athletes from 28 teams will take part in the parade. The ceremony will be based on the theme of national unity.

 

Will inaugurate the India Mobile Congress tomorrow

India Mobile Congress, the country's biggest event in the telecom industry, will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This three-day program will start from October 27 at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi in which 31 countries will participate. The Department of Telecommunications said on social media, there will be more than one lakh participants in this program. There will be more than 1,300 delegates and more than 400 speakers. 225 exhibitors and over 400 startups are expected to attend.
