Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other world leaders on Wednesday visited the Taman Hutan Raya mangrove forest in Bali. During this, Prime Minister Modi also planted saplings. PM Modi reached the mangrove forest on the second day of the Bali tour. PM Modi was received by Indonesian President Joko Widodo upon his arrival.
PM Modi is expected to participate in the third working session of G20 on Digital Transformation today. Prime Minister Modi will also hold bilateral meetings with leaders of eight countries on the sidelines of the G20 Summit in Bali, Indonesia.
Also, PM Modi is expected to have bilateral agreements with the heads of state of Indonesia, Spain, France, Singapore, Germany, Italy, Australia, and the United Kingdom.
At the same time, Indonesian President Joko Widodo welcomed PM Modi at the venue yesterday. PM Modi was accorded a traditional welcome on his arrival in Bali on Sunday night.
PM Modi tweeted and said that grateful to the Indian community for the warm welcome in Bali! On Tuesday, he also addressed the G20 working session on food and energy security. Here he reiterated India's long-standing position in favor of dialogue and diplomacy in Ukraine. He also said that I have repeatedly said that we must find a way to a ceasefire in Ukraine and return to the path of diplomacy.
PM Modi sought to ensure peace, harmony, and security in the world
PM Modi said that in the last century the Second World War wreaked havoc in the world. After that, the leaders of that time made a serious effort to adopt the path of peace. Now it is our turn the responsibility of creating a new world order is on our shoulders for us in the post-Covid era. The need of the hour is to show concerted and collective resolve to ensure peace, harmony, and security in the world.
