Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday condemned the incident of allegedly using abusive words against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his mother during an event of the opposition alliance in Bihar. Shah said, "Congress leaders have committed a highly reprehensible act by using abusive words against Prime Minister Modi's mother during their 'Infiltrator Bachao Yatra'. I condemn this. Every Congress leader has used abusive words against Prime Minister Modi."
Shah said, "What happened two days ago has hurt everyone. PM Modi's mother lived a life in a poor household, raised her children with values , and made her son a trusted leader. The people of India can never tolerate the use of abusive words for such a life. There can be no bigger fall in political life than this, and I strongly condemn it." He further said, "I want to urge Rahul Gandhi that if he has any shame left, he should apologize to PM Modi, his late mother, and the people of the country. May God give wisdom to everyone."
