Police's fear: Jugraj's parents, who hoisted the Nishan Sahib at the Red Fort, fled the village, know-how happiness turned into sorrow.

Jugraj Singh, who hoisted the 'Nishan Sahib' flag at the Red Fort during the tractor parade of farmers on the occasion of Republic Day, on 26 January, which his family was feeling proud of, seems to be changing their sadness today. Family members of Jugraj Singh, who hoisted the flag at the Red Fort, appear to be fearful of possible police action. The family, which was earlier excited about hoisting the Khalsa flag over the Red Fort, is now regretting this act of Jugraj. The fear of possible police action is such that Jugraj's parents have fled the village.

 

It is believed that 23-year-old Jugraj, a resident of Van Tara Singh village in Tarn Taran, hoisted the Nishan Sahib flag at the Red Fort during the tractor parade of farmers. Let us tell you that on the ramparts of the Red Fort, flags of Nishan Sahib and farmer organizations were hoisted at exactly the place where the Prime Minister hoists the tricolor on Independence Day every year.

 

Meanwhile, there are reports that Jugraj's parents hoisting the flag have fled the village, leaving their grandparents alone to confront the police and media. Jugraj's grandfather Mehal Singh was excited after the incident on Tuesday, but his enthusiasm turned into fear on Wednesday. On Tuesday, when he was asked how did you feel about this act of grandchildren, Jugraj's grandfather said, "Big blessing is Babe Di, so much is so much." But on Wednesday, his answer to this question was, 'We don't know what happened or how it happened, he (Jugraj) is a decent boy who gave us no reason to complain.'

 

According to the Times of India news, the villagers said that the police had hit Raid many times at Jugraj's house and returned empty-handed every time. A villager present in Mahal Singh's house said that when the incident happened at the Red Fort, he saw it on TV. The neighbor says that Jugraj is a hardworking boy.

 

Significantly, Jugraj's identity was revealed through a video viral on social media. In this video, Jugraj's relative had identified him. In the video, he says the youth, Jugraj Singh of Van Tara Singh village hoisted the Khalsa flag at the Red Fort. The man, who describes himself as a relative of Jugraj in the video, introduces Jugraj's father and grandfather Baldev Singh and Mahal Singh as well as his grandmother and mother respectively.
