Israel has resolved to eliminate Hamas terrorists and is taking new steps for this. Now Israeli Defense Forces have taken the help of sea water to flush out the terrorists hiding in the tunnels and destroy them.

A report on Tuesday quoted unnamed US officials as saying that the Israeli army is filling Hamas' tunnels in Gaza with seawater. This will help in destroying the tunnels.

Officials said Israel believes Hamas is using the tunnels to hide hostages, fighters, and munitions. However, the process of destroying the tunnels with the help of seawater may take weeks.

 

Will affect freshwater

Apart from this, some officials of the Biden administration have also expressed concern over this step. They say that this step of Israel could endanger Gaza's fresh water supply. However, the Israeli Army has not given any comment on this report.
