Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who reached Assam on Monday ahead of the upcoming assembly elections, said that if the policy is right and the intention is clear then the destiny also changes. After inaugurating various projects in Assam, he said that when I came to lay the foundation stone of the Indian Agricultural Research Institute at Gogamukh, I had said that North-East would become the new engine of India's growth. Today, we see this belief descending on the earth before our eyes. He said that Assamese cinema began its journey with the Joymati film eight decades ago, from the same North Bank in the Brahmaputra. The region has given many personalities that enhance the pride of Assam's culture.

Prime Minister Modi alleged that the earlier governments treated the region stepmother despite having plenty of power in the North-East. Here connectivity, hospitals, industries were not in the priority of the earlier government. Our government, working on the mantra of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, has overcome this discrimination. Prime Minister Modi claimed that as of 2014 only 55 families out of every 100 families had LPG connections. The number was 40 in Assam. But we brought changes with the help of the Ujjwala scheme. Now almost all families in Assam have gas connections.

'Destiny also changes if intention is clear'

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said in Assam, "If the policy is right, if the intention is clear, destiny also changes. Today, the gas pipeline network that is being prepared in the country, optical fiber is being laid to every village in the country, pipes are being installed to deliver water to every house, those are the new destiny lines of Mother India. Today, the whole world is recognizing India's engineers. The youth of Assam have amazing potential. The state government is working hard to increase this capacity. Due to the efforts of the Government of Assam, today there are more than 20 engineering colleges here. ”He further said that the Assam Government is trying to implement the new National Education Policy at the earliest. The benefits of this new education policy are going to be highest for Assam, the tribal society here, the laboring siblings working in the tea garden.

The government is spending a lot of money in fisheries

PM Narendra Modi said in Assam that our government is spending more than what was spent since independence to promote fish farming. 20 thousand crore rupees have been planned for the farmers associated with the fish business, the people of Assam will also benefit from this. The North Bank's T-Gardens also have a big role in Assam's economy. The lives of our siblings working in these tea gardens should be made easy, this is also one of the top priorities of our government. He said that those who ruled the country for decades considered Dispur away from Delhi. Assam has suffered a lot due to this thinking, but now Delhi is not far away, Delhi is standing at your doorstep.
