At present, the waiting period for Green Card for Indians is 90 years, which will increase to 458 years by 2030. In such a situation, the rejection of this act will increase the difficulties of Indians in America.
Leaders in the US Parliament outright rejected the act
Leaders in the US Parliament said that if this act is implemented, many countries will have to face inequality. In countries where the working class is weak, they will not get a chance to come here. Republican leader Rep. Jim Banks said that infiltrating immigrants should be stopped first, then the act should be considered. At the same time, Democratic Party leader Yvette Clarke said that due to the passage of the Eagle Act, there is a danger of the dominance of the people of India or China than before.
People accused the leaders of supporting the bill
