Weather Update Today: There will be heavy rain in these states including MP, UP today, IMD issued a warning

Heavy rains have caused flood situations in many states of the country. Life has become hectic. Incessant rain in Madhya Pradesh has increased the problems of the people. The Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a Red Alert in MP regarding heavy rains in Indore, Rajgarh, and Ujjain. Apart from this, the Meteorological Department has issued an alert of heavy rain in UP, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Odisha, Himachal Pradesh, Kerala, and Puducherry. According to the Indian Meteorological Department, once again a low-pressure area has formed in the Bay of Bengal, whose effect is visible in many states.

Talking about the hilly states, there is a possibility of moderate to heavy rains in Uttarakhand on August 24, Jammu and Kashmir on August 24, and Himachal Pradesh on August 24, and 25. According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, Arunachal Pradesh will receive very heavy rains on August 26 and 27. Apart from this, heavy rain is expected in Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura for the next five days.

 

Heavy rain alert in these districts of Madhya Pradesh

 

According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), the rain will continue in some districts of Madhya Pradesh in the next 24 hours. The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for Ujjain, Indore, and Rajgarh. There is a possibility of light and heavy rain in Indore for the next 3-4 days. At the same time, there is a possibility of drizzle in Gwalior.

 

Heavy rain warning in Rajasthan

 

In Rajasthan too, the process of rain is not taking its name stop and the flood-like situation has occurred in many districts. The Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an alert regarding heavy rains in many districts including Kota today. Apart from Kota, IMD has warned of heavy rains in Udaipur, Barmer, Jaisalmer, Baran, Sirohi, Pali, Jalore, and adjoining districts. Apart from this, there is a possibility of rain in Rajsamand, Nagaur, and Jodhpur.

 

Delhi will remain cloudy, light rain likely

 

According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), the sky over Delhi will be generally cloudy on Wednesday and the maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 34 and 27 degrees Celsius. There is also a chance of light rain in some places.

 

Thunderstorm warning along with rain in Jharkhand

 

Heavy rain may occur in many areas of Jharkhand today i.e. on August 24 and the Meteorological Department has issued a warning regarding thunderstorms apart from rain. In the next 24 hours, there is a possibility of light to heavy rain in some places. Apart from Ranchi, the Meteorological Department has predicted rain with thunder and lightning in the next few hours in the Khunti district.

 

Light rain likely in these districts of Bihar

 

The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert regarding rain in the Kaimur and Rohtas districts of Bihar. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of light rain here. Along with this, the IMD has also warned about the thunderstorm.

 

Heavy rain warning in these districts of Odisha

 

According to the Meteorological Department, heavy to very heavy rains have been predicted at one or two places in Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, and Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Keonjhar, and Mayurbhanj districts of Odisha on Wednesday.

 

Thunderstorm and heavy rain alert in Himachal Pradesh

 

Monsoon will again gain momentum in Himachal Pradesh from Wednesday. Barring Lahaul-Spiti, Kinnaur, and Una, warnings of thunderstorms, lightning, and heavy rain have been issued in the remaining nine districts. Due to this, public services, electricity, water, and traffic have been feared to be disrupted.

 

Light to moderate rain likely in Jammu and Kashmir

 

The information received from the Meteorological Center is a relief for the people suffering from humidity in Jammu and Kashmir. Light to moderate rain is expected in many places for the next two days. After the rain, there will be some relief from the humidity.
