Russian President Vladimir Putin will formally take control of four regions of Ukraine on 30 September. They will also sign the agreement. It is being told that tomorrow only Russian administrators will be appointed here. Russian media, quoting the Kremlin, said an event would be held in Moscow and Putin would officially take over Ukrainian territories after the historic speech.

The Russian government-owned news agency Tass quoted Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov as saying that the ceremony for signing agreements in the Russian Federation would be held at 3 p.m. Moscow time on Friday. Peskov said the Russian president would preside over a signing ceremony in the Kremlin, after which the historic chief could also deliver a speech to appoint administrators in Ukraine's occupied territories.

Received support in a referendum

The Kremlin had earlier claimed that 99 percent of people voted in favor of Russia in the referendums in the Ukrainian-occupied territories of Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhya, and Kherson. On the contrary, Ukraine and Western countries condemned the referendum in Ukrainian territories.

Russia Threatens the West

The Kremlin bluntly told the West that an attack in these areas once annexed would be considered a direct attack on Russia. Last week, announcing the so-called referendums in Ukraine's Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhya, and Kherson regions, Vladimir Putin said he would respond with nuclear weapons if Russia's national security was threatened.
